The Board unanimously approved several administrative financial actions at its July meeting: designating Flagstar Bank accounts as depositories for village funds, adopting a two-signature requirement for checks, naming the Nassau Herald the official newspaper, and retaining Satty Levine, Ciacco, CPA as the village auditor per their proposal.
The Board also readopted a set of annual policies, including the Procurement Policy, Payment of Claims Policy, Investment Policy, Violence in the Workplace Policy, Standard Workday Policy, Sexual Harassment Policy, and Fund Balance Policy. The Minutes record the policy revision/adoption dates but do not provide detailed policy text changes.
The two-signature policy specifies that the Mayor (or Deputy Mayor in the Mayor's absence) and the Treasurer (or Deputy Treasurer in the Treasurer's absence) shall be the two authorized signatories and requires review at each organizational meeting for possible amendment.
