Trustees approve mayoral slate of one-year appointments, inspectors and engineers

At its July 29 organizational meeting, the Hewlett Neck Board of Trustees approved a slate of mayoral appointments for one-year terms and positions to serve at the mayor's pleasure.
Appointments approved on motion included Karen Quintavalle as Deputy Village Clerk and Court Clerk, Dana Garraputa in several deputy/clerical roles, Neiv Ziarno as Road Commissioner, and a roster of code enforcement officers. The Board also approved appointments serving at the mayor's pleasure, including Steven Hochberg as Associate Village Justice, Michael E. Beer as Prosecuting Attorney and Dennis Fromigia as Building and Plumbing Inspector; village engineers were designated as West Side Engineering (Jim Antonelli) and Nelson & Pope.
The minutes show unanimous approval for the slate; there was no recorded public comment or debate on individual appointments.
