The Board voted April 14 to enter into an intermunicipal agreement with the Village of Lynbrook to have Lynbrook perform spring street sweeping for Hewlett Neck. The rate approved is $1,270 per sweep plus $80 per yard for debris removal; the minutes record that after June 1 the rate will increase to $1,305 per day plus $80 per yard, and the agreement is subject to review and approval by the Village Attorney as to form and substance.
The motion was made by Mayor Moshe Blinder and seconded by Deputy Mayor Isaac Showman; the vote was recorded as carried unanimously. The Board authorized final execution of the intermunicipal agreement pending the Village Attorney’s approval of form.
