The Board of Trustees unanimously adopted a resolution April 14 appointing inspectors of election for the Village Election scheduled June 16, 2026. The resolution designates Charles Schoenfeld to act as Chair of the inspectors; others named include Lucille Stemkowsky, Carole Schoenfeld and Nicole Romero, with Lorraine Herman listed as an alternate.
The Board noted that, pursuant to New York Election Law, inspectors are required to be appointed in an even number and compensation for inspectors and alternates will be minimum wage per hour for each day served. The inspectors are to meet on June 16 at the place designated for the Village Election between noon and 9:00 p.m.
