Trappe Town Council on Dec. 4 approved several uses of remaining ARPA funds. Administrator Erin Braband presented an updated financial report; the council voted unanimously to give each town employee a one-time COVID bonus of $500.
The council also awarded the influent-screen rehabilitation contract to Bearing Construction for $130,154, approved an addendum to increase the sewer-liner RFP available funds to $75,000 (RFP due Dec. 23), and requested that Administrator Braband seek a $40,000 amendment to Davis, Bowen & Friedel's contract for additional lead-line inventory services. The council scheduled a Dec. 23 workshop at 1:00 p.m. to finalize remaining ARPA allocations.
