The City of Greensboro introduced GSO Assist, a 24-hour online customer-service portal and companion mobile application that allows residents to submit service requests, check status, and view requests submitted by others.
"GSO Assist is a 24 hour online customer service portal and mobile application designed to simplify reporting concerns, requesting services, and accessing city information," Rosemary Plyben said on FYI Weekly. The portal (gsoassist.com) and mobile apps in the usual app stores route requests to the appropriate city departments for review and processing during regular business hours; response and completion times will vary by request type.
The system allows users to submit requests anonymously and to check the status of a request once an account is created. The broadcast directed residents to gsoassist.com for more information and to the mobile app stores for downloads.
