County seeks interim fixes as PennDOT schedules Wildwood Road repair for 2028

The county also raised concerns that part of the road crosses Brady's Run park land that was purchased with state funds decades ago, which may require legislative approval before certain easements or transfers proceed. A commissioner said the county contacted a state representative about available road-and-bridge funds and asked the representative to press PennDOT to expedite the project. "They said they're looking at a bid in 2028," one commissioner said, adding the county is ready to assist with any approvals the state requires.
