Parking lots at several schools were repainted, classroom carpet replacement work was completed in a number of rooms and new stadium scoreboards are installed; staff also said a potential new stadium speaker system is being evaluated.
Work on a sewer line at Chester Street and a paving project at 3rd Avenue were also discussed; board members noted improved visibility and landscaping at the stadium and thanked facilities staff for summer work.
