The village board approved Resolution 2026-082, authorizing a professional services agreement with the Caledonia Utility District and Resource Environmental Solutions (RES) for engineering and construction management on the Turtle Creek restoration project.
A staff presenter explained the agreement covers construction-management services and that the work would be paid from the utility district budget and the district’s contribution. “Now, just so the board is aware, this is a grant funded project as well. There is $447,000 worth of grants, that are being attributed to this project,” staff said, and added that the grants will expire in June of next year, creating a timing imperative to bid and complete work this fall. The board approved the resolution by voice vote.
