Commissioners approve Architect LLC contract to repair roofs on 11 county facilities

The professional services agreement uses the AIA B104 standard form and sets architect compensation at 6.5% of cost of work with a not‑to‑exceed fee of $124,000 for basic services.
Staff recommended approving the agreement so the architect can finish evaluations, prepare construction documents and move the project into the bidding phase. Commissioner (Speaker 5) moved to approve the agreement and the board carried the motion by voice vote.
