"I would suggest that we have the engineering department monitor that intersection at various times during the day to determine if this is actually an issue," the staff member said.
Trustees asked about the cost and whether putting a sign in would preclude addressing trailer parking and other local causes; staff said monitoring first allows an engineering judgment or a study to support permanent signage. The board voted to forward the matter to the village board for approval so that staff can study the intersection and return with recommendations.
