The Mesa City Council unanimously approved a resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a development agreement, a government property improvement lease and other documents to facilitate development of the AC Hotel by Marriott during the Aug. 10 special remote meeting.
The chair introduced Item 1(b) describing the measure as "authorizing the city manager to enter into a development agreement, government property improvement lease, and all and other deal documents to facilitate the development of the AC Hotel by Marriott." Councilmember Jen Duff moved to approve the resolution (she identified herself when making the motion); Councilmember Adams seconded, and a roll-call vote by district resulted in unanimous approval.
