Board approves FY2027 appropriation, adopts Resolution 2026-R01

Following a legally noticed public hearing, the Abamore Community Infrastructure District No. 1 board approved the annual appropriation for fiscal year 2027 (Oct. 1, 2026–Sept. 30, 2027) and adopted Resolution 2026-R01 to certify appropriations and authorize the board to request taxation levies through county certification.
Staff (speaker 3) told the board the FY2027 budget included an increase to the district manager line to reflect anticipated additional hours as the district issues more debt and as the Highway 55 project begins processing payments. Staff cautioned that the exact timing and amounts of any new bond issuances will depend on future property valuations but said the issuance amounts would not exceed the budgeted limits.
"...there is an increase in the district manager, simply to anticipate the fact that as they continue to issue more debt and then also as the Highway 55 project starts needing, the processing of payments, it may take additional hours," the staff member said. The board moved, seconded and approved the appropriation and subsequently voted to adopt Resolution 2026-R01.
