Greg Temple, a Master Gardener, told the Planning Commission on April 7 that he had discussed stormwater-management concerns at the Queen Street parking lot with Town Manager Matt Spuck and urged the commission to coordinate with the Town Council to pause the parking-lot project until water-management issues are addressed. Mr. Temple said he plans to apply for the commission's empty seat.
Town Manager Matt Spuck was present and had earlier suggested working with the Planning Commission as part of broader planning work; the record shows commissioners and staff heard Mr. Temple's request but did not take formal action at the meeting. The commission may consider the concern during the comprehensive-plan review or in a future agenda item.
