URA approves expanded downtown striping, authorizes Rocky Mountain Services contract

"It sounds like worst case scenario if you don't have the collaboration with ACHD, then if, it sounds like there's about an average of about, would average out about 1,200 a year to maintain those stripes," a commissioner cautioned during the discussion.
A motion to approve resolution 26-015 (the more extensive option) was made and seconded; the board approved the resolution with one abstention recorded for a member whose building frontage was affected. The resolution authorizes Rocky Mountain Services to perform the striping work and directs board officers and staff to execute the scope-of-work and take necessary steps to implement the project.
