Commissioners push for clearer, larger maps and embedded online zoning maps

One participant reported ordering 36-by-40-inch and 12-by-18-inch maps for the next meeting and urged an electronic, zoomable map option embedded in the plan. “They were simply too small to be useful,” one attendee said of the printed maps, and the group discussed layering, web links and the requirement to keep at least one map on display in town hall.
Chair Casey Greer said maps will be a near-term deliverable and suggested recruiting community volunteers and local professionals to help produce clearer visualizations; a local mapmaker (Bill Nelson) was offered as a potential vendor for specialized mapping work.
