Staff schedules Eagle design-book workshop; new planner to present photos and mapping

Barb Williams, planning staff for the City of Eagle, told the Design Review Board that the next meeting will be devoted to a workshop on the Eagle design book and that staff’s new planner has been taking photographs around town to support the update. "Our new planner, Cali, has been going around and taking pictures of all kinds of stuff throughout town," Williams said.
Staff said the workshop will include map-based guidance showing where architectural styles might be appropriate and draft descriptions of style elements for board review. The chair noted prior personal use of the Eagle design book in teaching and called the forthcoming update “exciting.” The workshop is intended to gather board input on style choices and possible map overlays before staff refines the design-book content.
