Trappe Submits Lead-Line Inventory to State; Council Schedules ARPA Workshop

Town Administrator Erin Braband reported that "the lead line inventory was completed and submitted to MDE on October 15, 2024" and that the town is preparing to send 252 letters to properties whose service-line status is unknown. Engineering firm Davis, Bowen & Friedel offered to amend its contract to use additional ARPA funds to continue work; the council requested the firm work with town staff on contract amendments for council review.
Braband also requested a dedicated workshop on remaining ARPA funds to finalize allocations before the Dec. 31 deadline; the council scheduled that workshop for Nov. 19 at 4:30 p.m. Council members did not take final allocation votes at the Nov. 6 meeting.
