Administrator Braband told the council the town received three bids to install security fencing around well houses and the water tower. After review, the council awarded the project to Chesapeake Fence in the amount of $22,490.00; Commissioner Jeremy Newnam made the motion and Commissioner Walter Chase seconded the vote, which passed unanimously.
The selected scope will enclose Well 4, Well 6 and the water tower together, and Well 5 separately. The minutes do not record an installation schedule; procurement files and the contract will set timing and performance terms.
