Board approves South Main review, Woodland Crossing video and advertises liability-consultant RFP

The board approved agreements funding consultant review and communications work tied to local development projects. Mike Huber, development services director, said the city will hire Work Program Architects to assist with an architectural review of a proposed South Main Street corridor development (agreement not to exceed $5,000). "We are looking to have Work Program Architects help us with a little bit of an architectural review on the project on South Main Street," Huber said.
Separately, the board authorized up to $5,000 for Street Craft to produce a short informational video highlighting the Woodland Crossing master plan and project progress and approved advertising a request for proposals for liability consultant services on behalf of Human Resources. Board and staff discussion clarified that airport-specific insurance is usually handled separately and could be included if requested.
