Major items approved included the revised agenda (which added an umpire contract), minutes from July 21, $81,184.40 in claims, a $1,000 donation from Surf Internet, three entertainment contracts for the Island of Blues festival, renewal of the CivicRec service contract and an additional umpire contract for Danny Barrett.
All recorded votes were by voice and recorded as unanimous. The Chair repeatedly closed votes by saying, "Motion carries unanimously," as items were approved.
