Board approves additional umpire contract as staff addresses softball scheduling gaps

"We realized we didn't have quite enough softball umpires for the tournaments coming up, so we needed to add another," a staff member said when explaining the need to add Danny Barrett, who has worked with the department in the past. The board moved to approve the contract for Barrett and voted unanimously to approve it.
