The board ratified a partial payment of $63,426 to Wessler Engineering for professional services related to the Willowdale storm sewer separation project, which staff described as part of the city's long-term control plan for CSO 15. Staff said survey work is complete and preliminary design meetings are underway to identify where separated stormwater can be directed.
"That is part of our long term control plan," the project staff member said, adding the overall project is large and bidding is expected at the end of the year for construction in 2027–28. The board approved the payment by voice vote and acknowledged follow-up coordination meetings with the consultant.
