“They did not come to that interception… Mike Smith didn't call… You did not renew that parade.” The resident also said he was accused by a council member: “and she received the call me a liar. Are you kidding me?” The clerk ended the comment at the five-minute limit.
Council members did not respond to the substantive allegations during the meeting. The clerk reminded the audience that public-comment items are for information gathering; items raised are referred to the appropriate committee and, if not committee-level, to the borough manager for a response within five business days. No formal action was taken on the resident’s claims during the session.
