Hillsdale approves parade support, farmers market renewal and Hamlet performance funding

The Town Board unanimously approved a letter of support for the Roe Jan Memorial Day Parade scheduled for May 26, 2025, and authorized the necessary DOT application support. Supervisor Dvorchak said, "The Town of Hillsdale has no objection and supports our local VFW’s efforts in producing the annual Roe Jan Memorial Day Parade."
The board also approved $750 from the Hamlet Park fund for a Rooted Voyagers performance of Midsummer Night's Dream (Resolution 62-2025) and renewed the Copake Hillsdale Farmers Market agreement for 28 weeks at a new rate of $1,300 (Resolution 64-2025). These community-event authorizations passed unanimously.
