The Eagle City Council approved two easement vacations in the Val Nova development during public hearings after planning staff and applicants presented the applications and noted Planning & Zoning recommendations for approval.
Lisa Bachman of Bachman Custom Homes asked the council to combine Lots 15 and 16 in Bellnova Estates into a single 1.684-acre lot to reduce density and improve views; she told the council utility providers have been notified and approvals are in hand except for Eagle Water. Planning staff Rick Butler said the Planning & Zoning Commission voted 5–0 to recommend approval. The council moved and approved VAC 2026-03 for Bachman Custom Homes. Later, Kendall Hancey of Horox Engineers presented a similar vacation for Lots 36 and 37 in Kirk Hill Subdivision Number 2 to create a 0.458-acre lot for a single residence; staff again noted a unanimous P&Z recommendation and the council approved VAC 2026-05.
