The suspension passed 7-0, with Mary Berges, Jennifer Demaline, Anne Marie Etienne, Anthony Moore, Michelle Patton, Scott Radcliffe and Council President Brian Fischer each recorded as voting "yes." Radcliffe then moved to adopt the ordinance; the adoption vote was also 7-0 and the Chair declared the motion passed. The ordinance language in the meeting record specifies awarding the bid for the Mills Road resurfacing project and includes the emergency clause that makes the action effective immediately.
The meeting record lists the full council as present and shows the City Engineer as absent. The clerk’s reading and the roll-call votes were the only actions recorded on the Mills Road item during the brief special session.
