Commission Vice‑Chair Ralph White told the July 8 meeting he had received an inquiry from a property owner about a possible nomination for the Avon Plaza at Two Bucks Avon. White said he advised the owner that the property “appeared eligible” for landmark status and directed the owner to complete an application, but that no completed application has yet been submitted.
White described the plaza as built around 1965 and historically home to a library, pizza shop, barber shop and other commercial tenants. The Commission did not vote or take further action at this meeting; White indicated the matter may return to a future agenda if an application is filed.
