Commission Secretary Sarah Fine‑Walsh moved the motion to approve, and Commissioner Joshua Adams seconded. The full commission — Chair Chris Fry, Vice‑Chair Heather O'Neil, Secretary Fine‑Walsh, and Commissioners Adams, Mika Cline and Thomas Kowalske — voted yea.
Owner Stacey Fredricksen addressed the commission about the reasons for building the deck, and Commissioner Kowalske noted the proposal does not include a roof now but that a future roof could potentially extend beyond the deck footprint. No member of the public registered opposition during the item.
