Hillsdale board issues negative SEQR declaration for proposed town salt shed

Town Attorney Ken Dow advised moving forward with Parts 2 and 3 and said the board could lawfully adopt a negative declaration based on the record before it. The resolution authorizes the town to proceed with grant applications and subsequent procurement steps consistent with the SEQR determination.
What happens next: With the negative declaration approved, staff can finalize a grant application by the stated deadline and prepare procurement documents if the grant is awarded.
