Andrea Dinsmore approved as acting assistant superintendent, effective Sept. 1

The superintendent recommended appointing Andrea Dinsmore as acting assistant superintendent for one year effective Sept. 1; the board approved the one‑year contract and the chair announced the motion passed 8–0. The superintendent described Dinsmore as the current director of student services with prior experience starting as a special‑education supervisor and said the appointment will fill the vacancy created by Dr. Wexler's departure.

Board members congratulated Dinsmore after the vote and the superintendent noted the district will manage the administrative shifts that follow the appointment. "Andrea, I think, is known to all of you as our current director of student services... I am very honored to offer her recommendation to you as acting assistant superintendent," the superintendent said.
