"For our certified, we have filled 165 positions. There are still 10 vacant for the certified roles," HR presenter Missus Houston told the board, noting vacancies included classroom teachers and special-education roles. The board approved the personnel recommendations by roll call, appointed Ashley Rodriguez as instructional facilitator for special services and approved a recommended assistant principal for Del City High School. Board members pressed HR on adjunct qualifications for critical-core areas and the presenter explained state testing, provisional pathways and principal oversight used to manage hiring.
