Planning staff presented a revised plan that shows the pump-house access doors moved and additional evergreen screening and berming on the south and southeast sides; staff and the applicant reported neighbors were satisfied with the update.
Developer and applicant representatives said the plan restores and completes sidewalk frontage in the neighborhood; Ben Semple noted the project will "complete an entire block of sidewalk along Parkinson." Council members questioned line-of-sight effects for trees in a curve, and staff confirmed proposed street trees are deciduous shade trees (tulip tree and littleleaf linden) and must comply with traffic sight-line requirements. The motion to approve the design-review application passed.
