Board approves hires, accepts resignations and grants an early-retirement exception

The School Board on June 2 approved a slate of personnel actions: several new hires for special education and elementary positions, appointments resulting from union arena bids, summer school staffing and supplemental athletic contracts.
The board accepted the resignation of Angela Manchini, principal at Martin Elementary School, effective June 30, 2026, and approved the retirement of van driver Debra Erb effective June 30. The board also approved termination of employee #619818 effective May 13, 2026. Directors voted unanimously on all personnel motions.
In a separate motion, the board granted a one-time exception to the Early Retirement Incentive for administrator Todd Kutchak, making him eligible based on age (55) despite not meeting the plan’s years-of-service requirement; the board noted the action is a one-time exception and does not change the administrators’ compensation plan terms.
