City staff says ADA ramps installed and crosswalks coming as West Rocks project nears completion

TMP staff reported the West Rocks corridor has three of four new ADA-compliant ramps installed and new crosswalks are scheduled over the next month or two; a drainage project on Lehi Denning Street will follow and is coordinated with Public Works.
Greg Pacelli (TMP) told commissioners the West Rocks sidewalk project is advancing: contractors have installed three of four ADA-compliant ramps and will complete the fourth later in the week. He said contractors will install new crosswalks over the next month or two.
"We did install as part of the West Rox Road project... we did install a crosswalk, Ackland Denning going across West Rox Road," Pacelli said, adding that a future drainage project along Lehi Denning Street is scheduled and is being coordinated with Public Works. Pacelli said the corridor improvements trace to the 2012 bike-and-ped plan and were funded in part with federal grants.
Commissioners asked about outreach and suggested walking‑through social posts to showcase completed facilities. Pacelli welcomed commission assistance in highlighting projects and said TMP and DPW will continue work into the fall to finish bid and construction items.
