Staff said the equipment is more than 15 years old and is showing faults (ports registering in use when they are not).
A board member suggested considering a rate increase (the town currently charges 35¢ per kWh) and asked staff to have the accountant reconcile ChargePoint receipts against the town’s revenue lines. Members also discussed replacement funding options and monitoring whether charging use recovers as rates and equipment are addressed.
