Retzer publicly thanked P1FCU for sponsoring a barbecue at the pool ribbon cutting attended by State Representative Joe Schmick and community members. He also acknowledged student volunteers from Jennifer Cooper's class for post-construction cleanup and noted a decorative mural contribution from Charlotte Deleon. The mayor framed the renovation as both a recreational and environmental improvement for the city; no formal council action was taken on the pool at this meeting.
