Commissioner thanks council for support of Robert Mote Museum

Commissioner Tom Gordon and Bill Hudson addressed the council to express appreciation for the council’s financial support for the Robert Mote Museum. Gordon asked that his thanks be passed to Mayor Becker, and Hudson described student involvement and design proposals from career and technical education students supervised by Millie Frost.
Hudson said the museum will tell stories of African American life and education in Carroll County and invited council members to tour designs when available. “We deeply, deeply appreciate the monetary gift that you gave us,” Hudson said, and the council thanked the presenters and welcomed continued collaboration on the project.
