The Board of Select Persons voted 5-0 on Feb. 19 to approve a set of licenses brought before the board, including a liquor and special amusement permit application for the American Legion Napoleon Ouellette Post #24 and hawking and peddling licenses for four food vendors.
DiConzo moved to approve the listed licenses and Theriault seconded; the motion carried 5-0. The approved hawking and peddling applicants listed on the agenda were Smokey's Hotdog and Thing's (Virgle Perry), Seedz (Cory Cochran), Mr. & Mrs. Sausage (Dana Levasseur) and Danmark Food Concessions (Mike Philbrick).
The approvals were recorded as part of the public hearing items on the agenda and were handled as a single action. No public objections or conditions attached to the approvals were recorded in the minutes.
The board had earlier added the charter and ordinance amendment item (4f) and bid-specs item (9a) to the agenda at the meeting's start; both additions also passed on 5-0 votes.
