Fire chief asks for inspector, replacement brush truck and three firefighters as part of phased staffing plan

Commissioners probed whether funds could be reallocated from other items or carried forward so the truck could be ordered when money becomes available; staff said they will monitor sales-tax receipts and return with a budget amendment if revenues come in above projections.
