Mayor Milne reported progress on Village Hall security improvements: a lock and doorbell have been installed to allow staff to buzz visitors in, two additional cameras are in place, and the final step is connecting the doorbell to the automatic opener. Milne said completion of the final steps is expected in the coming weeks.
Separately, trustees approved a low bid from West Fire/Sciens for $3,847 to upgrade security at the Honeoye Falls Mendon Historical Society. Trustee Floss moved and Trustee Wagner seconded the motion; the vote was unanimous. The minutes list the vendor and dollar amount but do not detail the specific hardware to be installed for the Historical Society.
