Board adopts Local Law 3 to set construction start time to 7 a.m. weekdays

Approximately 10 residents spoke about early construction start times and related disturbances; trustees listened and accepted written comments and emails provided to the board.
Mayor Milne told attendees the intent is to update the code to match longstanding practice, allowing construction to begin at 7:00 a.m. on weekdays. "The Village Board of Trustees thanked them for attending and voicing their concerns, while also citing the need for the Law to be updated in the Village Code to 7:00am on weekdays," the meeting record states. Trustee Main moved and Trustee Harris seconded approval of Local Law #3 as written; the motion carried unanimously.
