The Hopewell Town Board on March 18 approved a 2026 general ambulance service agreement with the Canandaigua Emergency Squad. Matt Sproul of the Canandaigua Emergency Squad presented the contract and asked whether the board wanted an updated presentation each year; the board agreed that the report to the town will remain annual and approved the current agreement (Ayes 3, Nays 0).
Supervisor William Namestnik said the "term begins in 2026." The motion to approve was moved by Council Member Mark Curran and seconded by Council Member Andy Faust. The approval was recorded as Ayes 3, Nays 0.
