Paulsboro board approves minutes, sets Jan. 7 meeting and flags dumpster, health and parking issues for applicants

The Paulsboro Land Use Board opened its Dec. 3 meeting with roll call and approved the memorialization of minutes from Sept. 3 on a motion from Larry Haynes and second by Erva Macauley. Members then scheduled the board’s regular January meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
Administrator Vernon Marino cautioned applicants about borough requirements, saying "the Borough has an Ordinance that businesses need a dumpster and there needs to be access to the back area for dumpster pick-up and deliveries." Marino also urged applicants to have an architect inspect basements for structural soundness and to meet Board of Health and fire-suppression standards for cooking operations. Board members reiterated that applicants should coordinate with neighboring property owners when access or easements are needed.
