The Borough of Paulsboro Land Use Board voted Sept. 3 to grant a 'D' use variance to Ace Truck & Van Wash LLC for a proposed automated truck-and-van wash at Block 132 Lot 7 on Lodge Avenue. The motion to grant the variance was made by Erva Macauley and seconded by Vice Chair Jennifer Maden; the minutes record the motion as "Grant the Use Variance with conditions on returning to the LUB Board with a Site Plan for approval."
The board recorded seven ayes—Robert DeAngelo, Jennifer Maden, Ben Mento, Kathy McCann, Phillip Neff, Jack Henderson and James Salvatore—and no nays. The board's approval is conditional: the applicant must come back to the Land Use Board with a site plan for the board to review and approve before any building permits or site work proceed. The application is listed in the minutes as No. 24-LUB-004, dated Aug. 8, 2024, and is memorialized in Resolution #13-24.
