Commission adopts four land‑use items on consent, meeting closes with committee scheduling

At the start of the Aug. 10 meeting, Chair Chris Meyer read the agenda and staff recommended that items 4 (42953 Pierce Street NE), 5 (5312 Lindale Avenue North, Ward 5), 6 (61860 East 28th Street and 2717 Longfellow Avenue) and 7 (1803 Bryant Avenue North) be handled on the consent agenda. No members of the public asked to remove those items and the commission adopted the consent agenda by voice vote.
Chair Meyer advised applicants that those projects were adopted and wished them luck proceeding with their projects. The commission then proceeded to the scheduled discussion items and concluded the meeting by discussing committee scheduling and next steps for the 2050 plan work; staff asked commissioners to confirm availability for a committee of the whole meeting the following Thursday.
