Board names SBIA liaison, hears EGS quote pending and reviews highway staffing proposal
Summary

Supervisor Dave Fantuzzo circulated an SBIA weed contract for future consideration and the board designated Councilmember Tiffany Smith as the liaison to investigate town involvement and maintenance options. Smith agreed to review the contract details and report back at a subsequent meeting.
Supervisor Fantuzzo and Councilmember Phil Eygnor said they met with EGS (Advanced Energy Solutions), which will be submitting a quote to address the town’s energy needs. Separately, Highway Superintendent Gerritt Reyn presented a proposal for his highway employees that the minutes state is reflected in the 2025 budget; because Councilmember Bob Cahoon was absent, Fantuzzo said the board would continue that discussion at the next meeting.
