Town leaders reported initial planning to investigate sewer infrastructure for parts of Sodus Bay, East Bay and the Glenmark area of North Rose. Supervisor Dave Fantuzzo and Councilmember Phil Eygnor said they met with MRB Group, Town of Sodus Supervisor Scott Johnson and Sodus Point Mayor Dave McDowell to discuss scope and next steps; they said the first step is a preliminary engineering study and that the town will apply for grant funding when applications become available.
No funding was committed at the Oct. 1 meeting; the discussion was preliminary and the minutes record that a grant application will be pursued when released. The board did not adopt any formal resolution to fund or commission a study on Oct. 1.
