Board members said SNPLMA has "officially approved Appendix L" and indicated that project work will begin as soon as possible. Chairman Ben Noyes told members they intend to "start tackling the big projects first shortly after the fair," and the board reviewed a set of FY2026 capital items, led by a $180,000 allocation for fairground improvements.
The minutes show grandstand repairs are close to completion, metal siding materials are en route, and the sorting alley is finished and will be removed from future agendas. Members discussed making track railing movable to ease start-gate operations; Kent Lynskey suggested procuring "DO NOT TIE" signs for sections of the track and Member Rope Ashworth said he would pursue obtaining those signs. Extra track railing has already been purchased.
