Board authorizes ordering of Lake Bluff Road signs; supervisor to seek county placement approval

Councilmember Tiffany Smith reported she spoke with Jeremy Sears at Marshall Farms (which owns three of the four corners on Lake Bluff Road) and presented photo examples of multi-panel signage used elsewhere. Supervisor Dave Fantuzzo shared mock-ups from Lettering Lounge, reported he had a placement quote and has discussed installation with the county highway superintendent and the town highway superintendent, and said he would ask local restaurants to contribute to costs.
The board expressed a target to keep the town’s out‑of‑pocket cost under $500. By Resolution #97-2024 (ADOPTED AYES 5 NAYS 0) the board authorized Supervisor Fantuzzo to order the signs after he receives confirmation from the Wayne County Highway Superintendent on placements; Marshall Farms must give final approval for placement on their corners.
